作品阐释

1.在抽屉柜里,它的宽敞不在于它的高度,也不在于它是满的还是空的。它给每样东西都留出了地方:它既是记忆又是理智。在这个精心打造的立方体里,抽屉里面存放着经过分类的整个实证知识的世界。卡勒-伯努瓦先生赋予抽屉一股魔力。他有时说:“抽屉是人类精神的基础。”

2.抽屉的隐喻不再是简单的一种语言现象, 也不只是建构了语言大厦,而是创造性地重塑了人类经验和建构了丰富现实的视觉隐喻, 就是要借助语言隐喻这个工具, 在抽象的信息和视觉形式建立联系, 勾起信息同视觉形式之间某种相似的特征和意义,通过形态的转化,实现信息意义的视觉表达。更多的像是很多个的打开发出奇怪的声音的抽屉, 他建立了一个类似抽屉的隐喻空间。


Artistic Statement:


Regardlessits size, its fullness or emptiness, the drawer always leaves room for bothmemories and reasons.  There is an entirecognitive world that has been categorized in each carefully-crafted cube.Believing drawers with a magic power, Carey Benoit entrusted commented, “drawersserve as the base of human spirit”.

The metaphors in the drawers not only presentsa language, but also creatively remold the human experiences and construct richmetaphorical visuals.  The work aims tobuild a correlation between the abstract information and visualization, and tocreate a transformation from one form to the other.  The drawers that hosting and showing with allkinds of sounds, open up a much bigger space for metaphorical thinking andimagination.

关于鱼羊鲜艺术小组的阐释

艺术在当下将现实和思想所指代的事物之间的空间已经挤垮。所有被现实甄别过的事物都发生了变化,彷佛这些事物经历了辐射一般。这是因为思想太贴近思想的对象,试图去触摸它,闻它,舔它,以至于使对象全都发生了转变。当艺术和现实在各自向不同方向漂移,语言的锚就被拔起,使得如何让艺术的可能性问题变得越来越成为迫切的问题。就像本雅明所言:“语言清楚地表明,记忆不是探究过去的工具,而是过去的剧场。记忆是过去体验的媒介,就像土地是埋葬死亡之城的媒介那样”。

鱼羊鲜艺术小组成立2015年。是由多位艺术家组成的实验艺术团体。致力于各种思想和观念实验在当下的可能性,旨在挖掘艺术行动在当下的现实意义。”

 

The space between representation by reality and that bythoughts has been crashed down by art in contemporary context.   All the things that have been discriminatedby reality have changed in a way as if they have been radiated.  Because the thoughts have been drawn tooclose to the objects of the thoughts, attempting to touch, smell, and lickthem, so as that all the objects have been gone through changes too.  When arts and reality are drifting indifferent directions, the anchor of the language has been pulled out, and itbecomes an increasingly urgent question how to realize the possibilities ofarts.  As Walter Benjamin put it “ Thelanguage has clearly indicates that memory is by no means a tool to explore thepast but a theater for the past. Memory is the medium of the past experiences,like the earth is to burying the city of death”.

 

Established in 2015, Yu Yang Xian Art Group is composed ofseveral artists, committed to explore the possibilities of experimentalthoughts and concepts and seek to dig into the realistic significance of thearts in contemporary context.
